Grubau releases 100,000 euros cash immediately after collaboration with Trendskout

For more than 40 years, family company Grubau has focused on supplying tools for stone processing. Now that the second generation is in charge, the Belgian market leader is making great strides. A digitisation of processes and the implementation of Trendskout's AI platform are boosting the strategic growth plan of the driven entrepreneurs.

The impressive new building - with its spectacular white O on the blue facade - already betrays the ambition of the three brothers who took over the company from their parents. "We currently have 15 employees on board and offer 14,000 items to construction companies at home, but also in Europe," says CEO Frederik Rigole. "On the one hand, we want to fully focus on experience in the innovative new building, but in the meantime we also made the successful switch to a digital and largely automated ERP environment."

A rock-solid foundation, therefore, on which Grubau can build further.

Proactive stock management

Trendskout's technology helps the young wolves realise an ambitious strategic plan. For instance, stock levels are also a challenge for Grubau. "Based on Trendskout's forecasts, we can now adjust stock levels much more specifically. Especially in a busier November month, for example, this is particularly interesting for our sales. Recently, 100k euros of cash was freed up by cleverly lowering our stock level, without the order fulfilment falling. As a small SME, that's nice."

"Thanks to Trendskout, they can communicate in a more targeted way, immediately give the customer relevant recommendations and that is a boost for sales. Another big advantage of artificial intelligence is that customer attrition is detected faster and thus prevented. Now we maintain an overview and can act much faster thanks to real-time insights."

Frederik Rigole: "I used to collect customer data myself and make analyses in Excel, but Trendskout's strength is really in the app. They have created a very user-friendly application that really makes the most of the power of your data."
